Dr. McLane, DVM

Veterinarian

Dr. McLane’s interest in veterinary medicine started at age 14 while growing up in a suburb of Chicago. Even at that early age he knew he wanted to live in Montana and be a vet. He finished high school in Illinois then went west for college. While at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah he found the other loves of his life; Caren, his wife, and fly fishing. After graduating from BYU with a degree in Animal Science their little family, which consisted of himself, Caren and his son, Andrew, moved back to Illinois. He attended veterinary school at the University of Illinois in Champaign/Urbana, Illinois and graduated in 2000. While in Illinois, they added another son, Mitchell, to their family. After completion of vet school, he accepted my first job in Billings MT working for Dr. Ed Jorden at Moore Lane Vet Hospital. He loved living in Montana and obviously decided this is where he wanted to stay, so here he is. Montana for him is full of things he loves: his family, which now consists of Caren and 5 kids (Andrew, Mitchell, Avery, Callum, and Bronwyn) and 2 Brittany Spaniels (Amber and Ella), and all the outdoor activities Montana has to offer. He love to go fishing or bird hunting with his family and friends every chance he gets. In fact, if he’s not in the office he’s probably fishing, camping, hunting, gardening or watching one of his kid’s soccer games. Montana offers a great quality of life.

Dr. McLane is adept at orthopedic surgery, including fracture repairs.

Dr. O’Keefe is Fear Free certified and proud to provide your pet with the best quality care while under her watch. Her professional interests include cardiology, internal medicine, and surgery.
