Dr. Johnson grew up in Germany, but a string of adventures eventually led her to Montana, where she met her husband, Lyle. She studied linguistics and literature and taught English abroad before earning her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Colorado State University in 2017. She loves being a vet and bonding with her clients and continues to develop special interests in emergency medicine, surgery, and geriatric care. She is certified in Veterinary Medical Acupuncture and provides acupuncture services for our 4-legged clients.
In her free time, she’ll be riding her roany pony, exploring the mountains with her family of two- and four-legged creatures, and pursuing art and photography. She also loves to combine her passion for foreign language, travel, and veterinary projects related to community service.
Dr. Kandawasvika, DVM
Dr. Kandawasvika grew up in Zimbabwe and comes to us from Reno, Nevada. She completed her doctorate in veterinary medicine at
“Dr. K” enjoys spending time with her husband, kids and house cats!

Dr. Kiley Walker grew up in a small town in western Pennsylvania. She graduated from The University of Findlay in Findlay, Ohio with a Bachelor of Science in 2016. She then went on to veterinary school at Mississippi State University where she received her DVM in 2020. During veterinary school, she spent some time working with wildlife in Belize as well as various locations across the United States. She is proud to be fear free certified. Her special interests include internal medicine and ultrasound as well as wildlife and exotic animal medicine. She is excited to develop relationships with her patients and clients. Kiley has a cat named Frederick and a Newfoundland named Gus. She spends her free time hiking, camping, and backpacking with her husband, Patrick.
Dr. Spina, DVM
Dr. Greg Spina was born and raised in Laurel, Montana. He graduated from Rocky Mountain College and attended Colorado State University for his veterinary degree, graduating in 2018. Dr. Spina worked in private practice for a short time, then began a 1-year ER internship in New York State.
When he is not working, Dr. Spina enjoys spending time outdoors, either hiking on family property or enjoying the scenery from horseback. He enjoys crafting: leather-working or Para cord weaving. He has a dog named Rhea, Fluffy the snake and a horse called Willow.
Dr. Erickson, DVM
After working for 3 years at a local 24-hour practice, Dr. Erickson accepted an opportunity to work at a specialty Emergency and Critical Care facility in Wisconsin. This position allowed her to work with various specialists and gain exposure to advanced diagnostics and improved patient care management.
Dr. Erickson is excited to be back in her hometown, working with the Billings Community. Her special interests include soft tissue surgery, emergency, and critical care, and end of life care. As an avid outdoors-woman, Dr. Kayla Erickson enjoys a plethora of activities especially if they include her German Shorthaired Pointer Tye.
