MLVH is highly committed to the highest standards of care and we want our clients and their pets to have our support whenever it’s needed. We don’t expect you to meet our needs, we expect to meet yours. This is why we have chosen to operate as a 24-hour facility.
For MLVH, 24-hour care does not mean we will call a doctor in to help if needed, it means we already have one here, in the building, with necessary support staff.
Emergency services are available 24 hours a day. You are welcome to call ahead so we can prepare for your pet. We do charge an emergency fee for unscheduled medical visits, but all pricing for our services remains unchanged – even after hours! Although we have set aside specific times for regular sick and well appointments, we are here 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, for all your other needs – even if it’s something small like picking up medication or food.

How It Works
We have normal appointment times Monday through Friday from 9am to 6pm and Saturdays from 8am to noon. To better meet the needs of our many clients working during these times, we do have extended appointment times in the evening from 7pm to 9pm Monday through Friday, but do require these appointments be scheduled prior to 1pm for same day appointments.
Whatever your need, no matter the time, we are here to help. Please keep in mind that our priority is always the health and safety of the pets in our care. It may be necessary at times to triage, or evaluate and treat the needs of the most critical pets first. Although we are available for most any service, we know you’ll understand that ensuring the pets in our medical care need to be tended to prior to all other services. If we are in the middle of an emergency, please know we will be there to meet your needs as soon as possible. We know you’d insist we do the same for your pet if they were in our care as well!
