Born in Southern Illinois and raised in North Central Illinois, Dr. Leonard brings a Midwestern work ethic to our practice. A 1992 graduate of the University of Illinois School of Veterinary Medicine, he then practiced in Delcalb, Illinois for 10 years prior to relocating to Billings. Dr. Leonard enjoys multiple disciplines in veterinary medicine, including internal medicine and challenging surgical cases. He enjoys all types of outdoor activities and sports in his leisure time.
Dr. Heser is originally from Great Falls, Montana. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Northern State University in Aberdeen, South Dakota and her DVM from Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa. After graduating, she moved back to Big Sky Country to practice veterinary medicine. Dr. Heser was the hospital’s rotating doctor, practicing at Moore Lane and our sister hospitals (Shiloh and Skyview Veterinary Hospitals). She started working exclusively at Moore Lane Veterinary Hospital in the winter of 2017. Her interests include surgery, dentistry, internal medicine, emergency medicine, and pet nutrition, and she enjoys the challenges that come with the profession. In her free time, she enjoys playing soccer, long distance running, biking, hiking, waterfowl hunting, and running with her dogs!
Dr. Jill Paul is originally from the Arkansas/Oklahoma area and is a graduate from the Oklahoma State University of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Paul’s past experience includes working in a mixed animal practice in western Oklahoma. Dr. Paul is currently one of only four Fear Free certified veterinarians in the Billings area. Her other areas of interest include dentistry, surgery, feline medicine (she is a member of the American Association of Feline Practitioners) and exotic pet medicine. She is committed to providing your pet as comfortable an experience as possible at our facility utilizing fear free practices. In her free time she enjoys outdoor activities such as hunting, fishing, and long distance bicycle riding.
